About Corinthians

Corinthians Zambezi Organization has been a long term strategic plan for Corinthians Organization as a whole. The organization strives to develop communities socio-economically in Zimbabwe and abroad.

The organization started as a football club founded   and established by in the year 2007, in Victoria Falls. The club has been officially registered and participating in Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) Matabeleland North Province, having both male and female teams, with various age groups. Throughout its existence, the club has been involved in youths empowerment through  scouting and giving opportunities for sports exposure  to youths   in Hwange District, as it pursued  inclusion of the disenfranchised groups . It has produced athletes   who, some have grown up to be professional sportspersons whilst some have pursued careers in other white collar professions. In the year 2021, the club expanded and incorporated other sporting codes namely netball, athletics, cricket and volleyball. 

All along, Corinthians have been involved in collaborative civic engagement through supporting various community development  initiatives ,partnering with Private Voluntary  Organizations such as Environment Africa,  United Children of Africa, Pristine , and ,Trusts such as Reach Out Trust as well as various schools such as Ndlovu Secondary School, Mosi-oa-Tunya High School, Mkhosana Adventist Secondary School, Simakade Primary School ,St Bakita Primary School and  other social organizations. Typical areas of focus which the organization has participated before include youths’ empowerment, wildlife conservation, education, drug abuse HIV /AIDS Awareness and environmental conservation.
